the local share of dune and beach restoration costs in South Ponte Vedra and
Vilano Beaches. Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) funding is
available, with a required 50% local share match, for dune-berm replacement
between FDEP Range Monuments 67 and 117. The proposed ordinance will create
two Municipal Service Taxing Units (MSTUs), one east of A1A and one west of A1A,
within which millage could be budgeted and levied to repay the cost of the local share
match.
